Joint technology development
between Korea and Germany

KSNT Co., Ltd. has successfully developed
the industrial wearable airbag ‘OPUS’
and the bicycle wearable airbag ‘Airchac’
in cooperation with its German partner Minerva-AS GmbH.
The two companies will continue to jointly research
and develop safer and more innovative wearable airbag systems.

Technology

  • Innovative Technology

Developed a deep learning fall detection algorithm
    through joint development
    with Minerva-AS Gmbh in Germany
and obtained certification from TÜV SÜD,
    a global certification agency.

  • Maximum Protection

Protects and absorbs shocks to key body parts (neck, spine, waist, pelvis) with an ergonomically designed airbag.

  • Advanced Materials

Applies a seamless OPW airbag for vehicles
    with proven safety and durability.
Uses the same airbag fabric supplied to
    global automobile brands such as
Hyundai Motor Company, Volkswagen, and Volvo.

  • Sustainable Design

Pursuing sustainable products and business models
by using reusable airbags and key components
    and eco-friendly packaging

  • Made in Korea

Providing high quality and excellent customer service through efficient domestic production and manufacturing process operation

Application of
internationally certified sensors
and inflators

The fall detection sensor that applies the deep learning algorithm is the only one in Korea
With excellent stability certified by German TÜV SÜD and CE,
and the fastening method is adopted so that anyone can operate it easily and conveniently.
When the sensor detects a fall and sends a signal, the inflator,
which has been recognized for its stability by the German Federal Institute
for Materials Testing (BAM), opens the airbag within 0.2 seconds.

Application of
OPW (One Piece Woven)
Airbag
Technology

OPW (One Piece Woven) is a cutting-edge technology
used in the production of vehicle airbags,
weaving the airbag with a single piece of fabric
without additional sewing or assembly.
This technology boasts superior strength and durability
compared to existing film airbags.
KSNT is proving its excellent technological prowess by being the first in Korea
to apply OPW technology to personal protective equipment (PPE).
